Georgia sheriff's sales, and the tax sales conducted the same way, are held on the first Tuesday of the month between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the county courthouse or the place the county designates (O.C.G.A. § 9-13-161). When that Tuesday is January 1 or July 4, the sale is held the next day. A county holds a sale only if it has advertised parcels for it, once a week for the four weeks before (§ 9-13-140 and following).
A county shows a posted list when Georgia Signals has read the county's own published list for this sale day. Every other county is watching: its page has the sale date, courthouse and county sources, and the list arrives when the county posts it.
Other sale days: November 3, 2026 · January 5, 2027.
