What Georgia Signals is (and is not)
Georgia Signals gathers each county's own published tax sale list into one place and re-checks it every morning.
Georgia Signals collects the tax sale lists that Georgia counties publish themselves, puts each one on its own county page, and re-checks every list every morning so you see changes without visiting a dozen county sites.
What you get today
- A page for each of Georgia's 159 counties with the next first-Tuesday sale date, the courthouse, and links to the county's own tax office.
- For counties whose list is posted, the properties on that list, read from the county's own file, with the date we last checked it.
- Plain-English guides to how Georgia tax sales, redemption and excess funds work.
What we are still building
Mortgage foreclosure notices (the ones published in each county's legal newspaper) are the next source we are building. Until they are in, the county pages show tax sale lists only.
What Georgia Signals is not
We are not affiliated with any county, sheriff or court, and nothing here is legal, financial or investment advice. Public lists can be late or wrong, and sales are often postponed or cancelled, so always confirm a property with the county before you bid.
Quick answers
- Is Georgia Signals run by the county?
- No. We compile lists the counties publish. The county's own notice is always the official record.
- Do you cover mortgage foreclosures?
- Not yet. Tax sale lists come first; legal-newspaper foreclosure notices are next.
